Criss Cross Puzzle of the Most Revealing Chapters!

5. The thing that girl applied to
6. The game which made Jonas feel pain again

9. The thing Jonas doesn't takes anymore

2. The reciver who failed 10 years ago
4. The memories __ to people after that
7. What Jonas's father did to the twin

"Once again, as he had on the playing field, he felt the choking sensation. Once again he saw the face of the light -haired, bloodied soldier as life left his eyes. The memory came back. He killed it! My father killed it! Jonas said to himself, stunned at what he was realizing. He continued to stare at the screen numbly."

This quote made me think a lot of things. While reading it apparents to be that not only Jonas was shocked but trust me, I was too! I didn't expected that Jonas father was going to kill that twin. I had a lot different vision of what a release was. I really don't think that Jonas father knows that he´s killing that newborn child. I think he is just given others and that he follows them without knowing much of them. Maybe he even thinks he is given the twin a kind of sedant or anesthesia so he could be asleep while he´s going to elsewhere. When Jonas saw this we could infer that all releases are like that. After watching the video of the release I think that Jonas will never see he´s father the same way he used to do.

I really want to read the final chapters of the book and see what happens with Jonas´s plan to escape. I want to see what happens next! This are definitely the most revealing chapters of the whole book by now. If I was shocked at seen Jonas´s father killing that twin I can´t imagine how Jonas would've felt. I really want to see the movie of this book because probably it explains things quite better just like the release part. In conclusion I really liked this chapters and I can´t wait to read the final ones, and I hope you liked the cross word puzzle.

Pain is Inevitable, Suffering is Optional

A lot of exiting things happened during this chapter and some of them are really interesting but personally I think that the following are the 4 most important. I will represent them in a comic strip. Its not in order.

COMIC STIP:

"Jonas entered the Annex room and realized immediately that it was a day when he would be sent away. The Giver was rigid in his chair, his face in his hands. I´ll come back tomorrow, sir, he said quickly. Then he hesitated. Unless maybe there´s something I can do to help"

This quote on page 118 made me think a lot about Jonas and his way of being. Jonas could've just go away but Jonas Isn't like that.... Jonas always tries to help people like the giver for example. Jonas is a really good kid and he always thinks for the best of the community. Those type of things make you have a good life when you grow up.

You might find my tittle a little confusing and for me it is confusing too but I'll try to explain it as good as I can. As you may had seen in the previous chapters, Jonas was given the memory of warfare and that was really painful for Jonas because he wasn't used to does things and he felted a lot of pain and that's part of the tittle when it says "Pain is Inevitable" . I think Jonas is really strong because he have been given this memories that are really painful and I also think that Jonas is very perseverant because he doesn't gives up on the memories even the painful ones. That's when we come to the part of  "Suffering is Optional" because he can simply give up and not want to get more painful memories but that's not he's choice......
